If you or someone you are caring for needs help see your GP as soon as possible (click here for Manchester GPs) or telephone the Gateway Service, the single point of access for referrals to Manchester Mental Health & Social Care Trust on 0161 882 2400 between 9am and 7pm Monday to Friday. For urgent support during evenings and weekends use the contacts below.
If you are already using mental health services and need urgent support, contact your care co-ordinator or CPN or the crisis line on 0161 922 3801 between 9pm and 9am.
The Sanctuary is an overnight, every night service providing a place of safety and support to adults feeling at crisis point and living with difficulties such as panic attacks, depression and low mood.
0300 003 7029, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Your GP: You can arrange an emergency appointment to see your GP who can assess your needs and get you the help you need.
A & E: If you are in a crisis and need help urgently, you can see a mental health professional at your local hospital's A&E Department:
