Mental Health Services
How we understand our mental health and our responses to treating mental health problems vary greatly across different cultures. What do NHS services provide to support Black and minority ethnic communities to access services?
- Language line (provides interpretation over the telephone)

NHS services will provide interpreters to help support you to work with their services, however if you prefer to speak to a specialist organisation, these services are available in Manchester. Often these organisations provide a range of services, accessible in many community languages. You can find out about these services by linking to the Getting Help section of the website.
